Low Tension No Contact Dancer

The Low Tension No Contact Dancer is designed to protect delicate & sensitive product which may be damaged or over stressed by sheaves in other dancer designs. An ultrasonic sensor is used to detect the deflection of the product travelling below it which continuously updates the take-up/puller speed control thereby maintaining a light tension on the product. A sliding bobbin gently rides on top of the product providing a precise measurement surface for the ultrasonic sensor. Local manual override and speed control is included in the onboard panel. The dancer comes complete with local controls, ultrasonic sensor, two-wheel hand truck style frame, electronic junction box and a 25 ft power/comm cable.
